The Algoma Workforce Investment Committee (AWIC) appoints new Executive Director
April 11, 2012: The Algoma Workforce Investment Committee (AWIC) is pleased to announce that Jonathan Coulman has been appointed to the position of Executive Director. In this capacity, Jonathan will be responsible for leading the organization as it fulfills its mandate to identify workforce issues that affect communities in the Algoma region and provide solutions to these issues by engaging local stakeholders and partners.

45 Recomendations from Labour Force Analysis and Human Resource Development Strategy
January 2011: In 2011 AWIC conducted an extensive Local Labour Market Study which resulted in the Labour Force Analysis and Human Resource Development Strategy for the District of Algoma. The strategy included 45 recommendations which are still relevant today and are useful as a guide when looking at local labour issues which need to be addressed.
